Gabriel Martinelli has completed his transfer from Arsenal to Al Hilal for €70m. The forward’s exit marks one of the window’s largest fees. Fabrizio Romano reports the agreement was finalised on 3 September.

Simon Adingra joined Ajax from Sunderland in a deal worth over €3m in loan fees plus a €16m buy option. Malick Fofana moved the other way, signing for Sunderland from Lyon for €30m plus €5m add-ons. David Ornstein confirmed both moves closed in the first two days of September.

Jean-Mattéo Bahoya arrived at Leeds United from Eintracht Frankfurt on a loan that includes a €30m mandatory buy clause. Chema Andrés left VfB Stuttgart for Brighton in a deal worth up to €23m. Plettigoal recorded both agreements on 1 September.

Further activity saw Arthur Vermeeren loaned from RB Leipzig to Royal Antwerp and Chido Obi sent on loan from Manchester United to Willem II. Two separate Monaco negotiations, involving Folarin Balogun and Lamine Camara, collapsed without agreement.

Thilo Kehrer and Badredine Bouanani also finalised loans, the former to Ajax and the latter to Rangers with an €18m buy option attached.
