In a tight Serie A encounter, Lazio managed to edge out Genoa with a 3-2 victory. The home side took an early lead and controlled much of the game, but Genoa fought back in the second half, making it a nervy finish for the hosts.
Lazio's clinical finishing proved to be the difference, as they were able to capitalize on their chances and withstand Genoa's late pressure to secure all three points. This result will be a boost for Lazio's top-four aspirations, while Genoa will be disappointed to have come up just short in their bid for a positive result.
